HR Coordinator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative and operational support to all HR staff
  • Assists in the recruitment process by preparing and posting company job openings to various websites
  • Reviews applications and conducts pre-employment screenings
  • Manages application flow and schedules interviews
  • Tracks status of candidates
  • Prepares, processes and manages all new hire paperwork
  • Verifies, maintains and registers essential payroll paperwork
  • Assists with Drug & Background screenings
  • Schedules and organizes various company meetings and departmental activities
  • Creates and develops presentations utilizing PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheets and training materials.
  • Assists with various correspondence, memos, charts, letters and HR Reports
  • Assists with the preparation of training materials
  • Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all HR information
  • Knowledgeable of HR laws

Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree required in business management, HR or related field and/or equivalent experience

Additional Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and telephone skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently on projects
